TERMS OF SERVICE

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website figgimagazine.com (the "Website") and the services offered by Figgi Magazine ("we", "us"), operated by the Operator identified in Section 12. By using the Website, submitting work, or purchasing any service, you agree to these Terms.

  1. Services. Figgi Magazine is a digital and print photography magazine. We offer: free review of photo submissions; paid services (priority review, webitorial placement on figgimagazine.com, articles/interviews, social media placements, guaranteed cover placement, and VIP packages) at the prices listed in our Media Kit at figgimagazine.com/mediakit; and sale of print and digital copies of the magazine via the third-party platform MagCloud. Detailed submission, licensing and content rules are set out in our Submission Terms & Content Policies at figgimagazine.com/submission-terms.
  2. Orders and payment. Paid services are ordered through our submission platforms (Kavyar, Artells Media) or by e-mail at editor@figgimagazine.com. Prices are listed in USD. Payment is processed by the respective platform; we do not collect or store your card details. Print sales are processed entirely by MagCloud under MagCloud's own terms.
  3. Editorial discretion. All submissions — free and paid — are subject to editorial review. Except where a service is expressly described as "guaranteed", purchase of a paid service does not guarantee publication. Guaranteed placements (cover, VIP) become binding only after your application is approved and accepted; if we decline your application, you receive a full refund under our Refund Policy.
  4. Your content and warranties. When you submit work, you warrant that you own all rights to the submitted work and have obtained all necessary releases from models, and for minors from their parents or legal guardians. Nude content requires confirmation that all models are 18 or older. Full submission rules are in our Submission Terms & Content Policies.
  5. Licence. By submitting work you grant the Operator a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to edit (crop, retouch), reproduce and publish the work in Figgi Magazine (print and digital), on figgimagazine.com, on our social media accounts, and in promotional materials for the magazine. You retain ownership of your work.
  6. Intellectual property. The Figgi Magazine name, logo, and the design and layout of the Website and magazine are the property of the Operator. Content published in the magazine remains the property of its respective authors and is used under the licence above.
  7. Prohibited use. You may not submit content that is unlawful, infringes third-party rights, or depicts persons under 18 in a sexualized manner. We reserve the right to reject or remove any content and to refuse service at our discretion.
  8. Liability. The Website and services are provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Operator's total liability for any claim related to a paid service is limited to the amount you paid for that service. We are not liable for the acts of third-party platforms (Kavyar, MagCloud, Artells Media, social networks).
  9. Indemnity. You agree to indemnify the Operator against all liabilities, damages, costs, claims and expenses arising from a breach of your warranties in Section 4 or from your violation of third-party rights.
  10. Consumer complaints (Reklamacija). If you are a consumer, you may file a complaint about a paid service by e-mail to editor@figgimagazine.com (subject "Reklamacija") or by post to the address in Section 12. We confirm receipt without delay and respond substantively within 8 days; if the complaint is accepted, we resolve it within 15 days of our response. This does not limit your statutory rights, including the 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts described in the Refund Policy.
  11. Changes. We may update these Terms; the current version is always available on this page. Continued use of the Website after changes constitutes acceptance.
  12. Governing law, disputes and contact. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Serbia. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Belgrade, Serbia. Consumers retain any mandatory rights granted by the law of their country of residence.
